As much as I want to stand on top of something with a very loud megaphone and yell until people listen, I can't see a way to make it happen. It's like Candide said: you tend your garden, meaning you make your part of life on earth a good one, you care for people, you speak up against prejudice. It's--it feels so paltry, especially today, like empty words, but if we can get enough people to not stand idly by, enough people who don't perpetuate this cycle, I think that's the best chance we have. The only chance. I love you, my darling. Hate terrifies me so much, but there are people who learn, there are.
