I don't know if I said any of that well at all. I don't know what it's like to be directly affected by something like this, and that is probably painfully obvious. I implicated myself as well when I wrote this, because it's true that while I knew a little bit about Haitian history (courtesy of college), I wasn't looking like I am now. And that's horrible.
