nokomis305 just posted this, and I apologize for the re-post, but I can't not, I want it in my journal too. It's just the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time. Chris Anthony, photographer (who was raised in Stockholm, incidentally), has done a series called Venice, which features, among others, Gerard Way and Lyn-Z Ballato. Yes.



Seriously, isn't that the most stunning, lovely picture ever? I still can't be coherent about it (I left poor nokomis305 the most stuttery comment ever) but I'm so, so glad it exists. Just--look at the water, and that kiss, and the colors, and the two of them together, just look.


ETA:There is one more picture of them on the website, a wide-angle shot where they're tiny against masses of water, embracing still, and, oh. Go look at it.

IT IS THE BESTESTY BEST THING TO EVER BE THE BEST. I AM IN LOVE WITH ALL OF IT- HOW THERE IS LIFE IN SUCH A GRAY PICTURE, HOW SHE'S LEANING UP AND HIS EAR STICKING OUT OF HIS HAIR AND BOTH OF THEIR HAIR AND THEIR HAND-HOLDING AND GERARD'S STICKY-OUTY FINGERS BEING STICKY-OUTY LIKE ALLLLWAYS AND THEIR DIVING TANKS AND THE ONCOMING WAVE THAT ARE LIKE METAPHORS FOR HAVING WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE THE RISKY PLUNGE INTO LOVE OR HAVING A BABY OR LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST, JUST LIKE THEY'RE DOING, AND DID I MENTION HOW THEY'RE KISSING? THEY'RE PERFORMING PDA FOR ART'S SAKE!

THERE'S ANOTHER, ZOOMED-OUT VERSION OF IT, ON THAT SITE AND THEY'RE TWO TINY SPECKS (ONE TINY SPECK?) HELLO ME TOO. I for real nearly fell off my bed when I saw it and I made a noise that cannot be categorized as anything but ridiculous, GOD, they are so fucking stunning, so amazing, so, so.

I LOVED THAT OTHER ONE TOO, so much, so much, I forgot to mention it in the entry (I should ETA that in, for sure) GOD, it made my week, no, month, no, I don't even know, but they're so, so beautiful.
