VEE. How are you so absolutely brilliant at guessing just what will make me the happiest thing in the world, oh; there is so much of this I love, Z's urgency & fear (and then the last line, ughhhhh), and Ryan sucking at not telling long stories, and his knees buckling, that's such a tiny, lovely moment. I love Z's cruelty, too, the way she hopes John takes the brunt of the fall, and I saved your life, all the demands implicit in that.

Also: you made me tear up a little with your intro, and barely anything makes me do that, um. Thank you thank you thank you, lady, you make me feel very loved. So much so that I spent most of today writing a letter to you, actually.
