okay, no, radio silence for REAL

Seriously, you guys. I have enough to do within the next two weeks to make me whimper and want to hide under my bed until it's safe to come out, and I just have to take a step back. More than what I did when I said I wouldn't post for a while. I love this space, I LOVE all of you (seriously, seriously so much), and my silly little journal makes me very happy.

But I have to get my research paper done and I need to have some time to edit my big bang, so those will be my primary occupations for the time being (well, that and finishing the abstract, but the deadline for that is Thursday, so it'll be out of the way soon enough). So if I pop up before May 18th, could you give me an internet-hug and tell me to go write my paper? (I swear I'm an adult and that I can take responsibility for my own behavior, but, uh, occasionally I need help.) Oh, and email me if you need me. (homeless dot sky at gmail dot com.)

PS. For those of you who are wondering, the meeting was not terrible. She was only vaguely condescending and undeniably much less worried than last time, which I think was partly due to me staying very calm (thank you so much for the advice and hugs and support, it helped).

PS2. These pictures made me so very happy today. Pictures from the first day when same-sex marriage was legal in Iowa. Sweden is this Friday. ♥

*beams* I nearly fell off my bed when I got to that part. AMAZING what ten seconds can do.

It really is! And he's so pretty and well-looking! (IDK, sometimes he looks pale and I want to mother him.)

He really does look Happy and Healthy (yes, that deserves capital letters--why am I so over-invested?) and it pleases me greatly. Smile more, Schechter!
