*tired grin*

HI LIVEJOURNAL. I have returned. I MISSED YOU ALL. (Shhh, I know I was kind of failing at hiatus but I was gone a lot and didn't post and stuff.)

HI. Can you tell I'm tired? I spent today doing absolutely nothing. Oh, I suppose I did the dishes while listening to Pulp (♥ [livejournal.com profile] thesamefire), I suppose that was kind of active. The best thing about today was that my sister came home from the US and she brought one of my book boxes (I had two boxes of books that I couldn't afford to ship stored with my host family), which means I now have so many books I'd been missing for the past two years.

Um, right. I turned in the paper, obviously. I still have to defend, but that's in two and a half weeks, and right now I'm just going to enjoy my little window of freedom and stuff. So much love for all the support I received, in so many different forms. Thanks for the comments, the ficlets, the edits (♥, ♥, ♥), the love. Me and my 50 pages of translation analysis are so very grateful.

Tell me how you've been, what you're reading, how the big bangs are going if you're writing one, if you're not, tell me about something else you're writing, tell me what you're up to, if it was sunny today where you are.

Most importantly: ♥.

Ahaha YES. I still haven't written the boat-stealing scene. I keep editing bits around it.

\o/ I KNEW you'd know, because you're brilliant like that. I have downloaded Apocalypse Suite and now I just have to figure out what to do on a Mac, but I'm seriously so excited. Comics ARE a lot of fun, I stopped buying them when I started reading super-fast at ten, because it became way too expensive a habit to support on an allowance when I was finishing them in ten minutes. This downloading business is good times.

Ah, according to the info at [livejournal.com profile] comicunity FFView is a good reader for Macs. (You can also, I think, view .cbr files as individual jpeg images if you change the extension to .rar and unzip it, but I recommend using readers as it makes it much simpler.) But I LOVE downloading runs of comics and devouring them... paper copies are better, yes, and I spend more time relishing the art, but for giant runs of stuff, I love just reading them on my computer. (I can totally provide recs, if you want. Just let me know what you're into!)
