i don't even know what to say. it's a youth camp. for young people interested in politics. 700 were there, 84 of them are dead and more are injured. it's too horrible.
it's not something that is comprehensible, i think. i know what you mean. i went to bed with "nine" being the number from the island which is horrible enough--nine young people who committed the crime of being interested in politics--but 84? it defies what we can understand.
not necessarily--it's a youth camp for the Norwegian Social Democratic party, whose youth group has 9500 members. And for this camp people come from all over Scandinavia (and the world). But the kids, yeah. They know each other.
yes, i went to bed with it being 9 dead at the island and woke up to 84 confirmed and many still missing. i can't. it's impossible to understand. and they are--so many died.
I am so, so sorry, sweets. It's - it's hard enough to comprehend from where I'm sitting, here, because as you said, they were kids, and either way it's a horrific number - any number is horrific under these circumstances. But for you, I just. I can't even imagine the scale of what you and everyone else there must be feeling, and I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could do, I really, really do. ♥
