Cottage for weekend. Will probably have internet, but I'm not likely to be looking at it a lot. Need to do work on my research proposal/take a lot of walks by the sea/finish rereading Young Miles/finish a letter.

I owe a lot of comments and emails, and I'm likely to keep owing them for a bit. I promise I love you?

Also, I haven't weighed in on the Polanski situation over here, but I imagine all of you can guess where I stand on it. The sheer idiocy and misoginy and FAIL going around (not on my flist, THANK YOU) is exhausting. My own darling newspaper seemed to think it wasn't that serious an incident and that the short article about the arrest belonged in the arts section. RIGHT THEN, moving on.

Have an awesome weekend ♥♥ I am slowly chipping away at the Story of Shame and will probably(/hopefully) want you to take a look at it soon, but I can almost guarantee it won't be this weekend.

(ps. speaking of looking at stories, hows that one I looked at for you coming?)

I did! It was fraught with some electricity failure and early frost (on the same night, bad bad news), but today there was mushroom picking and other good things, so all in all it was a wonderful time.

*grins* Whenever, whenever.

(Hmm. I started to hate writing, so I haven't gotten very far. At this point, Bob is stuck in a mob of holiday shoppers on Michigan avenue, which might make a more effective opening situation, we'll see.)

Enjoy yourself! Or, as much as possibly with research proposals. :)

I did enjoy myself, despite the need to poke at the research proposal. :D It helped that we found wild mushrooms and that my cat got to come along--such a warm and cozy time, seriously.
