thesamefire's birthday today. Darling, darling, I hope you have a fantastic day, I'm so glad you had fun last night, and, you know, just allow me to get sappy in public for a second (you can roll your eyes at me later).
Here's the thing, and I've said it before, last semester would have been impossible without you. For instance, take the time you read twenty pages of academic writing twice in a day and a half, giving me the first coherent and useful feedback I'd seen all semester, or the time you basically taught me how to write an abstract over four days and many, many rewrites. You've also helped me untangle a number of other issues , I just--I've said thank you before, but fuck, it's not exactly adequate.
Anyway, that's enough mush for the moment--I'm going to have something for you later, but we're about to mess around with our internet over here and I wanted to get this out beforehand. Love, lots of it, and, you know, we're going to rock this being 25 thing, I just know it.
