This began as a 200-word cuddling ficlet, which started from when Lyn-Z wakes Steve up because her bed is shaking. And then I decided this might be a story for you, and then it grew. And grew more. Then people helped me make it at least a little scary, and I started having a lot of fun. That would be the point when I started to make up ways for people to die, yeah. Oh, I'm so thrilled you like it, you have no idea. ♥!
Yes! That line and the two before it--my favorite exchange in the whole story, absolutely. Well, that and the mighty hip joint of doom. (I had a blast with this, can you tell?)
PS. The reason I finished it on time was that I'd recorded myself singing happy birthday in duet with, well, me, and then I vowed to post it publicly for you if I didn't have the fic done.
