Amanda and Lyn-Z actually got together first--they went to the same art school before Amanda dropped out to do street performances, and at that first seminar, when they were paired up to do a collage out of some wrapping paper, an old Cosmo and some glitter, Amanda fell in love forever when Lyn-Z pulled a sharpie out of her pocket and started outlining the angels on the wrapping paper in black.
They met Gerard when he (very nervously) asked to draw them, because he had this project--and they both thought he was about to ask them to pose nude, because at that point they were really open about being together and guys tended to think it was Really Hot. But no, he wanted to do something involving lots of draped black fabrics and fake blood. It was really ridiculous, but they said yes, and then Lyn-Z couldn't help herself, leaning over and kissing him when he absently said Amanda was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen in real life.
Neil met them when he was their professor. He certainly didn't mean to get in the middle of that, but, well. Ooops.
