it was fairly quickly clear to him that, damn, those two girls and their boy, were absolutely the most talented people in the class. And goddammit, he found them all seriously attractive.

But I am feeling sort of sorry for Gerard, now. He didn't know what was going on! Or what it meant! Or whether they were going to skip out the door at the end and go back to being amazing and bound up with each other and that would be it forever!
