Also, women certainly perpetuate patriarchy. Giving up the Special Boys' Club Member's Card is a tough thing and changing is difficult and taking responsibility for one's own place in the world is immensely hard. Also, unfortunately being a woman is no guarantee that someone will get it.

There's research on it, so much research on it, and it's structural, not personal. SIGH.
