the wrong end of the telescope

I so wish I could sit people down and make them understand intersectionality. My friend, the one I mentioned above, has said more than once that it's really hard for her to be both black and a feminist because how black activists or feminist activists react to her. And isn't that such bullshit? What we're after is a worldview that doesn't treat anyone who is not a man or not white or not able-bodied or not heterosexual as anomalies.
