This is really, really, really lovely. I was pretty broken up about Brian last year, and then finding out about Bob last night... Then someone linked to this in the tothetune comments and when I saw that it was by you I knew that I could trust you to do it right. And you did. This is exactly the fic I needed today, and even if it weren't (even if by some miracle it hadn't predicted the future), it would still be amazing. The feel of it, all the things they don't say and all the little details that show so much about each of them and their relationship, the healing -- both the immediate comfort and the long-term adorable project -- and the heartache... Perfect. Just perfect.
