Dude, okay. I don't generally read very much MCR-related fic at all, and I don't think I've ever been hugely interested in Bob/Brian, but if all of it was like this it would be all I needed. This is just - the dynamic here is so brilliant, mixed with your style and the imagery so that it's kind of, fraught and intense and then surprisingly easy at times, too. I love the way that both of them being so stubborn shines through (wanting so much and unable to figure out how to say any of it rang really true for me about the whole thing) but then when they finally do get there, both on the same page, they can spell it out for each other in a way that's really true to their friendship and their characters at the same time - I loved and if you don't, nothing will change, but I think you do, Schechter, Brian, I think you do, and it think we'd be—.

And then all the little details of this were just so marvellous, from like he always does when someone else is driving to Brian can't breathe, standing in the cold water, hands caught in Bob's jacket, and he probably looks like a stranded fish and also GERARD. He has to check, oh my God, how so perfect.

I loved this a lot; thank you for making me think and feel so differently about these guys, that hasn't happened in a long, long time. ♥♥♥
