You know when you're having a shitty night and sometimes the universe provides you with things you need?

This time around, I felt I had to step up and take the reins lyrically. It’s something I wasn’t very well practiced in, so I spent a lot of time thinking about what I wanted to write about—what would interest me, what would be fun. So there are moments on the record—lyrical moments—where they’re very, very honest, very straightforward. And there are also songs that we’ve always loved doing, that are very storytelling and fantastical. It doesn’t limit itself to straightforward honesty. There are a lot of fun little lyrical moments. It’s fun for us to mess around with verbiage, I guess.

And then they had a fight and Z decided to make Annie jealous. It worked. (It's okay, they made up.)

They are so--I mean yes, gorgeous, but they also are so good in terms of expressions and such--I make no sense, but it's not just posing and looking pretty, you know? AMAZING pictures.

I love him ever so much, and he surprises me too, still. I'm a Brendon girl but I'm also a Z girl, so I understand the Ryan thing (they are so very similar, those two, in so many ways--talented and wretchedly unpractical etc.).
