Summer is officially here and I have five days off from work due to two holidays happening around a weekend. I may have a cold (I can't hear anything), but I am most pleased. So, a prompts post (it's been a while).

Theme: summer. Music festivals, archipelagos, the sea, starry nights, ice cream, you name it. I want a pairing and a summery setting, and if you want, a prompt. Wacky crossovers are welcome as always, and you know what I write, I think. (Or, I should say, anything you've seen me write or be fannishly excited about is fair game, as is original fic.)

Bob Bryar and Veronica Mars in a canoe? Possibly not by choice; maybe they're trying to get away from bad guys? Or else by choice -- one of them had the regrettable thought that a float trip would be fun?

Or street-kid!Bob/girl!Brian, and the way asphalt makes the city swelter in the summer?

I've been feeling stupid insecure lately so I want kick ass girls overcoming insecurities and not caring what other people think. On a beach. I'm actually thinking gen but if another girl has to kiss every freckle to help her realize they're beautiful (OR WHATEVER) then I am down :D
