Yes, yes, the meme was going around two months ago or so. Look, I've never been the punctual sort, but better late than never, right? Anyway, today I found this vid of much joy and gleeful grinning (well-timed, in a lot of ways--I really needed to see something like this).

So, if you feel like seeing what happens when Edward Cullen tries his stalking thing on Buffy, this is the vid for you. I'm sure people have seen this already, but if not, it's a pretty brilliant fusion of the two source materials (it's not seamless, but it's really, really well done, especially when you get past the first minute), and, um, you should perhaps not watch it if you like Edward?

THAT IS AWESOME. I have never seen twilight, but those clips make it look even creepier than I had imagined it, and I was imagining it pretty creepy. I can't believe some people think that's romantic.

And now I kind of want to get into B:TVS except woe, too many fandoms! But I want to watch badass girls killing vampires! My life, so hard.

It is SO CREEPY. I haven't watched the movies, but I read half of one of the books and parts of another one while I was working at the bookstore, and oh my god. He watches her sleep, makes decisions for her, follows her around, and their wedding night, AKA the first time they have sex? She doesn't remember it but wakes up with lots of bruises and aches. It reads like she was roofied.

*grins* You could just watch the show? I really want to rewatch it now.

I KNOW. Those books give me the creeps so bad. (the worst part about that wedding night bit for me is that my mother has now conflated that with SSC BDSM and a bunch of other people probably have, too, when obviously they are about as alike as, well, rape and consensual sex) And then the part where she has a mutant vampire-fetus that almost eats her alive and breaks her spine while she's giving birth to it? DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: KILL IT. KILL IT WITH FIRE.
