I realized I forgot to tell you guys about the two Very Important Realizations I had when I was mainlining Fall Out Boy before going to Singapore.

Number 1: People in bandom quote Pete a lot. All the time, in fact. I never knew just how often this happened before.

Number 2: Oh, so Thriller is not actually a Michael Jackson cover, got it. *facepalm* No, I'm not going to tell you about how people mentioning this song used to make me imagine FOB doing the zombie dance. But it was glorious.

1. See, I've listened to Bob Dylan A LOT, so I actually sort of rock at figuring out what people are singing (compared to him, anyone is good at enunciating), and oh lord. Suddenly there are FOB quotes everywhere.

It seems to be going up and down in waves, and yesterday was a better day than Friday. Taking it super-slow also helps, which is what I've been doing lately.

I thought that, too, about Thriller! I listened to that album mostly in my car so I wasn't paying attention to the song titles, and I would always skip Thriller when it came up on iTunes because I'm pretty much almost never in the mood for MJ. I can't remember how I figured it out, but WOW did I feel very /o\/o\/o\ when I did. :P

I'm so relieved I wasn't the only one, man. :D I was like, OH, when I looked at my ipod and saw the title. But the idea of a FOB video for Thriller (the MJ song) still gives me much joy. ZOMBIE SHUFFLE.
