In the continuing saga of "How My Body Hates Me: Let Me Count The Ways," I'm pretty sure I have the flu on top of my Mystery virus right now. Possibly it's a horrendous version of my sister's mild cold, but the joint aches and headache are horribly suggestive. I guess I will know in the morning.

But in the meantime, because I could use a distraction from the joint aches and the possibility of imminent swine flu, you lot should come ask me things. Like, we could do that meme that's been going around again:

Ask me for my top 5 anything: fandoms, ice cream flavours, cartoon moments, women in my fandoms, OTPs, ideal holiday destinations, goals for the future, celebrity crushes, books I wish would be made into movies, love songs, ANYTHING.

And if you like, I'll ask you a top 5 in the comments!

Isn't it wonderful? It's my favorite collection of short stories.

You should tell me your top five fictional heroines! It's a mash-up of the two you asked me, kind of. :D

It really is! I was quite charmed.

Oh man, I'm not even going to lie, my reading has been so far in between (I'm just started reading avidly again, but seriously, I haven't even read Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings so my opinions are shady at best) and my memory is so spotty (I have to write book reviews for myself because I can't remember what even happened in the stories anymore) that I would never be able to answer that question. But I'll try to remember in six months time! And hopefully have an adequate answer for you.

Hee, it's fine. You could always include all heroines, movie ones or RL ones ("mom" is totally an acceptable answer as well--she makes all of my lists when I'm not constrained to the fictional realm) or you could just not answer the question, that is also a-okay.

Ahaha I can't answer that one, either. :(

I do think it's important to have heroines (just in general, I mean, mostly because I often need reminding that people who are awesome have totally had to deal with a lot of crap too, so it's not just me, if that makes sense?), but there is no mandatory answering of any kind around here. ♥

It makes sense! I just don't know. I've never really thought about heroes in the general sense at all. /o\ But sorry about being a loser and not being able to answer your questions! And I appreciate it. ♥
