...I'm reorganizing my books. By genre. Have reached letter P of fiction. Poetry, drama, fantasy/sci-fi, and nonfiction await. Send help, there are TOO MANY BOOKS.
Notes (in progress):
ETA 2: Poetry is done!
AND DONE. Sort of. The poor nonfiction shelf is crammed and ridiculous and sharing space with part of my postcard collection and some posters, but it's done and it's all sorted and omg my books!
...I haven't touched the fantasy. OH WELL AT LEAST THAT'S IN ONE PLACE. I'm going to go find raspberry sorbet and something to read and then sleep for a million years.
Notes (in progress):
- I own a lot of Shakespeare editions. And a lot of poetry collections. And every book Diana Wynne Jones ever wrote.
- Half of my bed and half of my floor are covered, and the rest are in piles on the shelves.
- Winnie the Pooh stands next to the four book-long novel series on Swedish immigration to the US, which stands next to Cloud Atlas, which in itself contains at least four genres.
- ETA: Fiction is done! Sample statistics, A-D:
- Men: 29
- Women: 44
- Books by authors of color: 14
- English: 44
- Swedish: 19
- French: 3
- Spanish: 2
- Unread:10
- Number of books: 58
- English: 41 (LOL SELF SWEDISH POETRY EXISTS)
- Lithuanian: 1
