It makes me really happy that this is happening. And not just for sappy reasons (though those are certainly there), but because it is a legal right to be able to marry and to simplify your life with someone else in the way that marriage does simplify it. That's what it is, when you get down to it: it's not about us trying to be like the rest or anything else image-related, but about being able to choose the life you want. It's not the only question, but it is an important one.
