So there's something I can say now that I couldn't say before this weekend. It was good to be up here, good to get time to think, and now I just have a tiny thing I'd like to ask for, on behalf of myself and a lot of others who are hurt and sad and bewildered by the events of the last few days.

In order to do this, I would like to propose a thought experiment.

Imagine, for example, that it was Frank who had left MCR, mostly without an explanation. And then imagine that Leathermouth didn't exist, and Skeleton Crew was run by someone entirely different, so you weren't exactly sure what was going to happen to him. Now ponder what your reaction might be like, and that's probably pretty close to how some of us are feeling.

And I'm saying this because I'm trying to explain what it was like for us to find out that rumor was real. Emotional reactions aren't necessarily logical, and they're not necessarily fair, but they are what they are. The thing is, we think it's wonderful that you guys are able to be sad but calm, excited about the record and supportive of the band (I really do mean that), but we're not there yet. We need some time to be sad and we need some time to be angry and to ache for the music that will be without someone whose influence on the sound we really loved, before we can figure out how we feel about everything else. I trust we can have that, yeah?

So much love, dearlings.

Possibly? My Brian is more like Catwoman. He steals jewels! Foils villainy! Drives Batman mad by refusing to stand on the side of good! He's independent and operates in the grey zone. Bob may be a dark super hero, but dammit, he's a hero.

I tell you what, my brain latched on the idea of Brian dressed in a cat burglar-suit [which said brain insists is made of more traditional black leather... most of the time. Apparently that whole purple costume fiasco was due to a mix up at the cleaners. It's unfortunate that *that's* when Pictures Were Taken.] And then I read the rest of that and LAUGHED. I think that's far more interesting a take on the dealie-o.

Oh man, I HADN'T EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT ALIEN ABDUCTION. I'm assuming that Brian is using his twitter account to communicate with Earth? Man, who would have thunk that Twitter had intergalactic range? Good thing they can contact Frank at least. Though I gotta say, a good percentage of the fans would have believed 'em if he'd just SAID aliens were involved. Or maybe they *can't* say anything because that would give the game away to the aliens agents still on earth and Bob and Brian would be lost forever in that distant galaxy. :O

Or *maybe* faeries are involved.

AHAHAHAHA!

There was a VERY GOOD reason for all of Bob's sliding out of pictures - he didn't want to get busted by the Court.

Everything about this cracks me up . Don't sexualize the pixies, Frank! And OMG Brian! I love the idea of Patrick running away to Faerie... And dude, that's a perfect opportunity for some Bob/Patrick shenanigans. [Especially since Banshee's are supposed to be female. Poor Patrick.]

&you;!!!
